In summary, Meopta optics are excellent scopes for the money spent, and every one I have looked through was bright, sharp, and very well made. The US Marine Corp along with the top tactical shooters in the world now use S&B glass on their sniper rifles. IMO, S&B makes the finest rifle scopes in the world right now with Swarovski and Zeiss tied for a close 2nd. In spite of the fact that the outline is presently 10 years old, the Schmidt and Bender PMII 5-25×56 keeps on being the ruler in the long-extend scope world. Schmidt and Bender’s degrees were all the while besting a greater number of rifles than whatever other not long from now. I personally would not even compare or put the Meopta line of scopes in the same breath as a Schmidt & Bender (German), Swarovski (Austria), and Zeiss (German) made scopes. Comparable scope to the Swarovski AV and Kahles Helia model scopes. The Meostar is the higher end Meopta scope made of 1 piece aircraft grade aluminum and the lens' offer 98% light transmission. The 3000 model scopes have a 1 piece aluminum tube. The Artemis 2000/2100 model scopes have steel tube construction. The Artemis model is comparable to the Zeiss Conquest and/or Kahles AH brand scopes (both American assembled scopes).
